Baby Girl Dodd | Raleigh, NC Newborn Session

Being a southern girl I have an obsession with double names for little girls. There is just something so charming about going by your first and middle name. I had such high hopes that everyone would call my little girl "Violet Kate" but alas she has become a first name only girl... for now.

It truly is my fault that Violet has become a single name gal. Having a double name comes with the responsibility of occasionally reminding people that you do in fact go by your first and middle name... and I clearly wasn't up for the challenge. And at 2 and half years old it maybe too late to start enforcing...right?

This little beauty, however, has a gorgeous double name and I KNOW it will stick for her because her sweet mama also has a double name. So, she will certainly be better about reminding others to not shorten her perfect name.

I love everything about this session, the family smocks, gorgeous home, stunning family, regal pups, and the most precious baby GIRL. The Dodds decided to wait to find out the gender of their little one which is so special. I can only imagine the emotion in the delivery room when you find out the gender of the precious little one you have been carrying for 9 months.
